Show Notes for this Episode:
Ruth Bader Ginsburg was an icon. We lost a champion for equality. Not only was RBG a strong advocate for women’s rights and LGBTQ rights, she was an advocate for all people who have been marginalized.
In this episode of the Retirement Money Gal podcast, I wanted to take the opportunity to honor RBG’s life and legacy.
Did you know that RBG helped women to be able to open bank accounts, credit card accounts, and mortgages in their own names? It’s hard to believe that prior to 1974 you had to have a male co-signer for any of these financial freedoms as a woman.
Tune in to hear some additional laws that RBG was behind to forward gender equality, as well as a handful of powerful RBG quotes!
